About us

Jenny is from Scotland and Stéphane is French. We are committed to bringing up our daughter in a bilingual, bi-cultural environment, and soon realised that transmitting our respective languages was more about stories, songs and games rather than learning by rote. An idea for sharing this began to take form and two years later we moved from Lyon, France to Scotland and Culturefrog came into existence.

Both members of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme, we began to develop sessions for very young children (0 - 5 years) and their families. Culturefrog's sessions have enabled us to channel and develop our passions for learning through creative play, crafting, singing and of course, the French language.

After two great years in Scotland, we returned to Lyon, France.  We continue Culturefrog as online workshops for use at home or in schools - bringing a little bit of France direct to your screens!
